Privacy Policy
Effective date: 20 October 2026
About this policy
This policy covers the Round Timer app for iPhone and this website, health.dvl.pm/round-timer, in every language version.
Who we are
DVLPM LLP, 8 Stoney Lane, Stoney Works, London, SE19 3BD, United Kingdom, is the data controller. Contact: privacy@dvl.pm.
The Round Timer app
- Round Timer does not collect any personal data. It has no accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking, and it does not send anything to our servers.
- Your workout setup, profile name, theme and language are stored only on your device and are deleted when you remove the app.
- The optional “Buy me a coffee” tip is an Apple In-App Purchase. Apple processes the payment under its own privacy policy; we do not receive your payment details or any information that identifies you.
This website
- We count visits with our own analytics (RudderStack, on our servers): pages viewed, buttons clicked (including the App Store button), the referring site and UTM tags, language, device type and the A/B test variant shown.
- These events are tied to a random visitor ID kept in your browser's storage, not to your name or email. Like any web request, they include your IP address and browser type.
- The A/B test variant is picked in your browser from that visitor ID (GrowthBook).
- The web server that delivers these pages keeps standard request logs (IP address, browser, time) for security and operations.
- The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used and improving it (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Storage and sharing
- Analytics events are stored in our own database and looked at only in aggregate. We keep them only as long as they are useful for improving the site and the app, and delete them on request.
- We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising. We may disclose information where required by law.
Your rights
- Under UK GDPR you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, restrict or object to processing, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
- To exercise these rights, email privacy@dvl.pm.
- To reset the visitor ID, clear this site's data in your browser.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will publish the new version on this page with a new effective date.
